Non-Invasive Tissue Repair

Chronic Tendon or Joint Pain? Accelerate Your Healing.

When scar tissue builds up or blood flow is restricted, injuries refuse to heal. Our protocol uses high-energy acoustic sound waves to break down stubborn adhesions, stimulate new blood vessels, and trigger your body's natural cellular repair mechanisms.

Please Note: This therapy is not suitable for everyone.

Because musculoskeletal conditions vary, we require a thorough physical exam and review of your medical history on your first visit. We will only perform these treatments if we determine you are a safe candidate.

How It Works

Healing at the Cellular Level

Shockwave therapy doesn't just mask your pain—it forces your body to heal the underlying injury. By delivering acoustic pressure waves directly into damaged tendons and muscles, we can restart a stalled healing process.

Breaks Down Scar Tissue

The acoustic waves physically break up stubborn adhesions and calcifications that restrict your movement and cause chronic, nagging pain.

Stimulates New Blood Flow

Creates micro-traumas that trigger neovascularization (the formation of new blood vessels), flooding the injured area with crucial oxygen and nutrients.

Accelerates Regeneration

Restarts your body's natural healing phase, allowing damaged tendons, ligaments, and tissues to finally repair themselves from the inside out.

Common Issues

We Always Check Your Candidacy First

We perform a complete checkup to see if your pain is caused by these common tendon, joint, or muscle problems.

Plantar Fasciitis & Heel Spurs

Breaks down calcifications in the heel and stimulates blood flow to the inflamed plantar fascia.

Common Questions

Shockwave Therapy FAQs

Here is what most patients ask about how we help heal chronic joint and tendon pain.

Shockwave therapy uses a specialized applicator to send high-energy acoustic (sound) waves into damaged tissues. These waves create micro-traumas that break down scar tissue and calcifications. This process tricks your body into restarting its natural healing phase, stimulating new blood vessel formation (neovascularization) to bring oxygen and nutrients to areas that were previously struggling to heal.
You may feel mild discomfort during the session, especially when we are targeting highly inflamed or damaged tissue. However, the intensity of the machine is completely adjustable. We always communicate with you to ensure the treatment remains tolerable. Most sessions only last about 5 to 10 minutes per area.
Cortisone injections are powerful anti-inflammatories that can temporarily mask pain, but they do not heal the underlying tissue and can actually weaken tendons over time with repeated use. Shockwave therapy is a regenerative treatment—it aims to physically repair the tissue and resolve the root cause of the pain without the use of needles or drugs.
While many patients feel a reduction in pain after just one or two visits, true tissue regeneration takes time. Most clinical protocols recommend between 3 to 6 sessions, spaced about a week apart, depending on the severity and chronicity of your condition. We will outline a specific plan for you after your initial exam.
